This is my Hot Rod.
The body appears to have originally been a marriage of a 1926-27 Ford Model T (front section, up to the end of the seat) and a 1924-25 Dodge Coupe.
During restoration, I extensively 'remodified' the the body.
The body was channeled, sectioned & chopped. The body is mated to a 1947 Ford frame (modified).
The drivetrain is all Ford as well as as most of the suspension.
Many other Henry parts were used in the making & remaking of this Hot Rod that must have been built in the late 1960's or very early 1970's.
I was told from the person I bought it from that it was originally from Montana.

Motor is Ford 302 ci (5 litre).
Dual Holley carbs feeding gas through a Weiand tunnel ram into Ford GT-40 aluminum heads, fired by MSD.
Roller cam motor has 320 HP, transfer via 2800 stall converter into a C-4 transmission that is muscled in all that old Detroit iron.
This car is very lightweight and will squawk the tires as it shifts through it's 3 gears.

As you can tell, it only goes out for rides on warm summer days.
Hot Rods, to me have always meant "Good looks, built using available old parts & minimal investment."
Simplicity is never dull.
